The Sophist and Platonic views of the Education

In V-IV century BC in Athens much of education was directed toward the creation of politicians. Learning is based on sophistic education model, where the objective to reach the students focused on: the art of persuasion through words, art of eloquence and art contest and discuss. The students came out with a high degree of persuasion and general management of the vile art of deception, "but they had barely learned anything about true knowledge. Something that deeply bothered Plato
For Plato education was very important, as important as that he was the only road leading to form an ideal society, so should be based on pursuit of knowledge would lead to truth, to justice. I also had to aim to bring harmony to the people, and never through the lies, it would mean that the politician only devoted to it by ambition
If we realize sophist education is designed to meet personal objectives, and Plato to meet a company or a group of people. What about you what is education?
